In last week's classes, while pausing in various poses, we asked ourselves "How Do I Want To Feel?" This intriguing inquiry is at the heart of Danielle Laporte's book called "The Desire Map: A Guide to Creating Goals With Soul". As Danielle states "knowing how you want to feel is the most potent clarity you can have. Generating those feelings is the most powerful thing you can do with your life."
With an introspective focus, we simultaneously explored the symbolism, secrets & metaphors hidden within Hatha Yoga asanas, namely Mountain Pose, Crow Pose, Pigeon Pose, Bridge Pose, and Forward Fold. We will continue to explore the hidden language of yoga over the course of the spring term. If you wish to learn more about this practice, I would recommend reading "The Inner Life of Asanas" by Swami Lalitananda.
