A paradox is something (such as a situation) that is made up of two opposite things and that seems impossible, but is actually true or possible (Merriam-Webster definition). Life is full of paradox! So in this week's yoga class, we practiced finding peace with paradox by using mudras (hand gestures), mantras (affirmations), and physical flows that help to harmonize opposites and strengthen our inner sense of balance and oneness.
As our Canadian poet of paradox, Leonard Cohen, passed away last week, I decided to pay tribute with the following playlist that features some of his songs from his final album "You Want It Darker".
